SOUND / HEALING

Janis uses sound healing therapy with a touch of reiki to help you find emotional and physical healing.

Science is finally catching up to the amazing benefits and healing power of vibrations and intentions.

Sound healing therapy is extremely helpful for: insomnia, PTSD, joint pain, anxiety disorders, fibromyalgia, and general well being

“If you want to find the secrets of the Universe, think in terms of energy, frequency and vibration. ”

– Nikola Tesla

  • Your first sound session will include some time to discuss your concerns and treatment options.

An assessment will be made to apply healing sounds to suit the needs of the individual.

You will be asked to drink water prior to your session and to wear light loose clothing.

Sound therapy includes the use of musical intruments (crystal bowls, tibetan bowls, gongs, chimes, etc) that you listen to while lying down and allowing the vibrations and music to flood the brain with dopamine - a happy chemical that allows us to relax, release stress, anxiety and tension. It also encourages deep breathing and may include meditation prompts or visualization exercises.

sound schedule

  • I recently had the opportunity to experience sound therapy singing bowls for the first time with Janis. I had no prior knowledge of this therapy and I purposely decided not to research the subject as I did not want to be influenced by other people. It was a most positive experience! Janis is very passionate about her craft and is sensitive to your physical and emotional needs. She takes time at the beginning of the session to ask questions about your wellbeing and then tailors the sound therapy to your particular needs. I left feeling invigorated, more positive about life and have recommended her to friends and family. If you haven’t tried singing bowls before don’t hesitate!
